It is with great excitement that we announce the availability of Dr Dick Wynn's course, "Mentoring the Next Generation - The art of growing emerging leaders"!
Dr Dick Wynn explains the course as follows: "To see Emerging leaders in every nation equipped to serve with integrity and excellence in strategic leadership roles." Dr Wynn was filmed live at CVC Media in Bellville, Cape Town in November 2009. The seven sessions capture Dr Wynn's unique and valuable insight into the world of mentoring.
The topics covered include General Mentoring Principles; The Mechanics of Mentoring; Identifying Potential Leaders; Getting Started as a Mentor; and Group Mentoring.
He has served with Crown Financial Ministries (SVP, Global Field Division), with John Maxwell (VP, EQUIP), founded Emerging Young Leaders and spent 34 years with Youth for Christ. He has travelled extensively to train leaders, speak at conferences and provide consulting services.
Dick has traveled to 67 nations of the world for the purpose of training leaders. He speaks regularly at major conferences and provides consulting services for national and international ministries.
Dr. Wynn has been a student of leadership for more than 25 years. He has written numerous articles and attended many executive leadership workshops and seminars. He was also a regular presenter at strategic leadership events.
In 1981 he was named Alumnus of the year for his Alma Mater. He was the recipient of three honorary doctor degrees.
Dr. Wynn has served on the boards YFC/USA, YFC International, Teen Ranch, Houghton College and The Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.
Dr. Richard R. Wynn, the seventh President of Youth for Christ/USA, passed away Friday morning at his home in Florida. He was 71. He is survived by his wife Janet; two children, Ronda (Dan) Chapin of Grand Rapids, MI, and Jeff (Bonnie) Wynn of Chicago, and 4 grandchildren.
